First jack up and support back tires of car. Crawl underneath and remove the 14 bolts to drop diffuser tray. Look up and not finding an oil pan, realize that you have taken off the wrong panel. Remove 8 more bolts to expose oil pan. Change the oil & filter - no problem. Take a few moments to clean out the sod farm deposited in the undersides of the car by previous owner. Scrub down the panels and reinstall them with the assistance of spousal unit. Clean up, and all done in 2 hours.

Now while I was under there, I noticed the left rear tire was completely bald. Time to order tires before the fall tour. I also have the driver's seat out and apart so I can add some padding. I have lots of natural padding, but it appears to be in all the wrong places. I think Lotus saved money by just slicing up old church pews to make the seats.
