This month, Spark models continues it's assault on all things Lotus, and our wallets! (As I tell my wife, there are much worse things to be addicted to!)

First up is the Lotus .... helicopter? Yep, not only has Spark come out with the transporters (previewed in an earlier issue of Lotus Notus - both in JPS color scheme, and Gold Leaf Tobacco sponsorship) in 1/43 scale, but they have just released this in 1/43 scale! This particular model is the Jet Ranger helicopter, and as a side note, was referred to by the team, and aviation community as "Gay Dancer". This was due to its registration number GAYTF
(clearly visible on the model itself) ... G-AY Tango Foxtrot!!. This particular model is based on the helicopter as it appeared in 1982 in JPS guise, being previously decked out in the Essex livery. The main rotor will need to be fitted, along with some JPS decals (due to tobacco branding on models, all the lotus models produced by spark include decals to make it appropriate), but it's worth it!

Another new release from Spark is the Lotus Evora, with your choice of Red or Silver! Again, the details are spot on, as appears to be the case with any Spark model that I have purchased thus far. Certainly worth parking one in your stable. Both these models can be ordered from Diecasm.com.... Jim would be more than happy to fix you up!

Finally, this Lotus Sport Elise comes via way of Wal-Mart, in 1/64th scale by Hot Wheels. This model has seen several color variations through the years, so nothing new in terms of the model itself. This one is a metallic green, and comes with a nice mini license plate to boot! I believe that Wal-Mart is the only store that carries this model with the mini plate, so you might want to start
