Lotus Corps – What’s in it for me?
Today with over 150 members, Lotus corps is a very active club. The club has more than ten organized events each year plus we inform and encourage members to participate in another two dozen or so interesting “non-Lotus Corps” event. Our events include car shows, road rallies, tune-up clinics, track days and swap meets. Lotus Corps social events include the annual awards banquet, the Holiday party, the February Snow-be-Que and the annual summer picnic. The monthly meetings focus on fun while still being serious enough to be very well organized and informative.
The club also has numerous technical experts who are committed to sharing the technical knowledge necessary to maintain and preserve the marque. Because Lotus the carmaker is still alive and well producing exciting new models every few years, the club gets a regular influx of new cars and new car enthusiasts. Lotus cars range in age from brand new to 70 years old. Club members range in age from being in their 20’s to being Octogenarians!
Included with your $30 a year dues is our full color monthly newsletter called the Lotus Notus, as well as a beautiful club calendar featuring club member cars – maybe even yours! Our annual auction is a lot of fun and it raises enough money to heavily subsidize some events such as the banquet and the annual spring go kart event. It also covers all costs for other events like the Snow-Be-Que, the summer picnic, the fall ice cream rally and the Holiday party. Spouse membership includes all regular member privileges except for printed materials.
Lotus Corps – Join for the cars, stay for the people.
